Terms of use
- Free for any personal or commercial website, forever.
- Please keep the small "by AfterDark Intuition" credit link intact — that's the whole deal.
- The widget is self-contained: no cookies, no analytics, no external requests beyond loading the script once.
- Works on WordPress (paste into a Custom HTML block), Blogger, Squarespace, Wix and any plain HTML page.
How the number is chosen
It is a number of the day in the literal sense. The script builds a value from today's date and uses it to pick one of 22 curated angel numbers — the repeating triples from 000 to 999 plus the sequences people most often report noticing, such as 1111, 1212, 717 and 919. Every visitor to your site sees the same number on the same day, and reloading the page does not reroll it. At local midnight it moves on.
Each result shows the number and a one-line reading in the tradition popularised by Doreen Virtue's angel-number interpretations — kept deliberately calm and non-predictive. The "Decode any number" button leads to our free angel number calculator, which accepts any digit sequence, not just the daily one.
Weight, privacy and what it loads
One file, under 4 KB raw and roughly 1.8 KB over the wire with gzip, with
all number data inlined. After that single request nothing else is fetched: no font,
no stylesheet, no images. The script sets no cookies, reads and writes no
localStorage, makes no further network calls and sends no analytics
event. If your site runs a Content-Security-Policy, allow
afterdarkintuition.com in script-src and nothing else is
needed.
Fitting it to your design
By default it renders a self-contained dark card, up to 320 px wide, in
Georgia with gold accents, with all styles written inline so they will not inherit
your site's typography. Everything it draws lives inside
#adi-angel-widget; target that container's child div in
your own CSS to restyle it (inline styles need !important to override).
It centres itself in whatever column you place it in and sits comfortably in a
standard sidebar.
If it does not appear
Three causes account for almost every report. The <div> is
missing or renamed — the script looks for exactly id="adi-angel-widget".
The embed was pasted into a visual editor that escaped the tags, which happens in
Squarespace and Wix unless you use their dedicated code block. Or your site is served
over HTTPS and something rewrites the script URL to http://, which
browsers block as mixed content. If none of those is it,
send us the page address and we will
look at it.
Why we give it away
Openly: the credit link is worth something to us, and a widget on other people's sites is a slower but far more durable way to be found than buying traffic. You get a working daily angel-number feature you did not have to build or maintain, and we get a link. If you ever want it gone, delete two lines of HTML and nothing of ours remains on your site.
We also offer a matching Tarot Card of the Day widget, and our numerology section has the full number-by-number meanings behind every result this widget shows.
